For a long time after the first RC 60s began to appear six or seven years ago maximum power outputs were pretty static at between 0.85 bhp and just short of 1.00 bhp. The breakthrough came with RC conversions of basically racing type rear rotary-valve motors like the Rossi Super-Tigre G.60 and prototype HP.61. These heralded the appearance of what is now virtually a new generation of more powerful RC engines all capable of comfortably exceeding one brake horsepower gross (i.e. less muffler) on ordinary low-nitro RC fuels. Among those that have qualified for this group in our tests so far are the Merco Series III 61 RC certain Super Tigre G.60 RC models the production HP.61 RC the Webra Blackhead 61 RC and now the new GP Series O.S. Max-H.60 RC.....
