How do we search for a plan?
There are many ways to search for a plan. The above information with the relevant links will help you with this. An important factor in the search for a plan is the keywords that you write in the search table located at the top and right of the home page.
How to preview the plan?
First find the plan page you want. Then click on the photo of the model. Immediately, the preview page opens with the plan of your choice. Check the plan if it is what you want.
How do I download a plan?
There are two ways to download the Pdf file with the plan.
The first way is by clicking on the blue button with the indication, "Download" inside the preview page as seen in the photo above. If for any reason the preview does not show the design, then you cannot download the file this way, so follow the second classic way, after first closing the preview.
First find the plan page you want. Scroll down that page, and find the section headed "Downloads:". Clicking on the blue button as in the photo where the red arrow is pointing, and then the PDF file will be downloaded.
What's in the accompanying files?
Articles All publications articles from magazines.
Manuals All publications manuals from companies or designers.
Reviews All publications reviews from magazines.
Decals All publications decals from models.
Parts All publications parts from models.
Ribs All publications ribs from models.
Where to find and download more accompanying PDF files for the plan?
When the page of the plan you want is found, it has all the information about it. In the upper and right point next to the photo of the model, there are all the accompanying information of the model. Right below them are the accompanying PDF files, if they exist for each plan, with the names from them and the download indication. Clicking on the blue download name as in the photo, then this file will be downloaded.
What format files are published?
PDF Clean These contain more articles, manuals and reviews.
PDF Bitmap Clean These contain more plans, with tiff format images.
PDF Vector Clean These contain more plans, with vector format icons.
Zip CAD These contain more plans, parts, ribs, decals and more in design dxf form.
Jpeg Photo These contain more photos.
What is a good quality plan?
A good quality plan is one you can immediately print out and use to build a model. Hopefully the plans on this website will all be of good resolution so they can be used for construction. A plan will be classified as bad if it is unclear, low resolution and could not be used when printed for a build. Here an effort is always made, to have a clean and reliable plan in your hands for a reading and construction of the model.
A 3D view is not a plan. A 3D view just shows the outside shape of an model. A plan has detailed information and description of the materials used and the shapes of the internal formers, and the parts that will fit together, to make a complete model.
What it's the found and credit in table details?
Found The link from the source of finding the plan is placed in the "found" position.
Credit The member who worked on the restoration of a plan and submitted it to the site has his name in the credit position.
How did it start?
It all started when this thread was opened. Before the creation of this thread, we found a few plans on various small websites. After this thread there was a big explosion with the publication of plans and articles.
